In the early 60’s Ford Motor Company began to make changes to their entire vehicle lineup. These changes were focused on a more maintenance friendly way of transportation, but inadvertently gave many Ford models a facelift. Of the Ford roster, the Fairlane was the most noticeably reformed. Falling between the Falcon and Galaxie in size, the fairlane became Ford’s new midsize car. Keeping many of its indicative characteristics such as the pie plate rear lamps and its small tailfins, the newer version gained a more Thunderbird appearing hardtop. This 1963 Ford Fairlane was the cream of the crop. Given the 500 distinction this car was the top trim level available in 63, while the Sport Coupe label sat the car an inch lower to the ground and provided a sportier look over all. This stunning two toned Fairlane is newly painted in Corinthian White and trimmed out with Viking Blue, giving it an exceptionally sleek look. Adding to the glamour are complimentary chrome Rocket Racing Wheels dressed in 235/60/R15 coopers tires in the rear and 165/80/R15 Nexan fronts. When you lift the bonnet you uncover a 91,935 mile – built 302 engine, modeling chrome Ford Racing valve covers, a Demon 4 barrel carburetor, Edelbrock Intake, aluminum radiator and duel exhaust. This well thought out engine is coupled with a C4 automatic transmission and 3.55 gears. Contained inside are well-appointed two tone blue vinyl with black accent bucket seats embracing a B&M floor mounted shifter. Moreover the car has received some recent affection by way of a new headliner, rear package tray, under dash gauges, and a tachometer. The outside of this car is pristine and when you roll over the key you will undoubtedly fall in love with its harmonics. Both luxurious and flashy, this car represented the pinnacle of what a Ford could be in the early 1960’s. Well-tended to and adored, this car is at the summit of what a classic car is today!
