The new Belair showcased a wide chrome grill, defined rear fins, a new dash, hood rockets and front bumper bullets, making it well-known that the Chevrolet engineers had undoubtedly hit the mark in styling. Being certain to leave no area overlooked, the designers even went as far as to hide the fuel filler door behind the left rear fin, and the movement of the headlights allowed for an eye-catching chrome bezel to set off a classic look at the cars front. The designers even improved the overall stance of the car by swelling the tires to a 15” compound, doing away with the tried and true 14’s of old.
